Textbook Equity, a (non-profit-to-be) is a creator, publisher, distributor, and seller of “open*” textbooks and ancillary materials to college students. Free or sold at low prices, these books are at least equivalent to the most popular textbooks in use today. Using technology and processes that greatly advance the way textbooks are created and reviewed, we provide cost-effective alternatives to traditional textbooks. Our mission is to advance educational opportunities for all students by providing textbooks at the lowest possible price.
